Good Friday this week
Hi all. It's Good Friday this week. Many of you may have planned not to spend it in Merihaka. Please mark yourself out now if you know you can't make. It'll help the rest of us to decide whether to come or not.

Meillä oli viime perjantaina FC Nerds ry:n vuosikokous. Alla kooste käsitellyistä asioista.



• Raha-asiat
Kevään lasku on maksettu Merihaan Pallohallille. Janne laskuttaa pelaajia viikon sisällä

• Ulkofutiskausi
Olemme viime vuosina pelailleet Tehtaanpuiston kentällä. Kenttä on vuokrattu PPJ:ltä, jonka juniorijoukkueet treenaavat kentällä. Emme vielä tiedä onko kentällä tänä vuonna vapaita aikoja. Koetamme saada PPJ:ssä toimivaa Kimmoa kiinni.

Kentän vuokraaminen on kohtalaisen hintavaa. Maksamme kesävuorosta vähän yli 800€. Kahtena viime vuonna emme ole onnistuneet keräämään tätä summaa vuoron käyttäjiltä. Jos onnistumme saamaan kenttävuoron, joudumme myös miettimään miten laskutus järjestetään.

Yksi vaihtoehto olisi siirtyä ilmaiselle kentälle, esimerkiksi Talin vapaalle harjoittelualueelle (https://www.suomi.fi/kartta/palvelupaikat/63caccf7-8918-44b2-9f0a-09f1db6aff6f?lat=6677051&lon=381642&zoom=11&sl=0886b1af-cf5d-436e-8b8d-c3967df4bc0b) Alueella on isohko nurmialue ja siellä muutamia jalkapallomaaleja. Tällaiselle alueelle siirtyminen mahdollistaisi meille myös sen että voisimme vapaasti valita potkimisajan.

Jatkamme keskusteluja kesäfudiksesta lähiaikoina. Koetan pitää teidät ajan tasalla.

• Hallituksen valinta
Meillä ei ole tainnut olla hallitusta koronavuosien jälkeen. Pallon potkimisessa ei tarvitse tehdä paljon päätöksiä. Silloin kun niitä pitää tehdä on kuitenkin helpompaa ja demokraattisempaakin, kun on pieni valittu joukko joka valmistelee asioita. Tällä hetkellä hallitus pohtii pääasiassa kesäpelejä. Jos on mitä tahansa, mistä haluaisit jutella kysy näiltä hallituksen jäseniltä: Ari, Erkka, Janne, Peter ja Veli

We had a FC Nerds association’s annual meeting last Friday. These are the topics we discussed:

• Finances
We’ve paid the spring season to Merihaka. Janne will send bills to all players within a week.

• Summer outdoor season
On previous summers we’ve played in Tehtaanpuisto. We’ve rented the pitch from junior football team PPJ that uses the pitch as training ground for various ages of juniors. We’re not sure if there are any available slots for us this summer. We’re trying to reach our contact in PPJ’s organisation to find out

Renting the pitch is also a bit pricey. We have payed bit over 800€ for the pitch time. For the past two summers we haven’t been able to collect all that money back. If we manage get some pitch time, we also need to figure out how to improve our billing.

One alternative is to play for free for example in Tali (https://www.suomi.fi/map/servicelocations/63caccf7-8918-44b2-9f0a-09f1db6aff6f?lat=6677051.000000002&lon=381642.00000000006&zoom=11&sl=0886b1af-cf5d-436e-8b8d-c3967df4bc0b). They have a grass area with a few goalposts that anyone can use. This option would also allow us to decide freely when to meet there.

We’ll continue the discussions about summer season in the coming weeks. I’ll keep you all posted.

• We elected a board for the association.

I don’t think we’ve had one since corona years. We don’t really need to do a lot of decisions, but when we do it’s easier (and more democratic) to have a group of people discuss and decide instead me trying to ask everybody. At the moment the board is mostly talking about the summer season, but if you have anything on your mind talk to us. The new board is: Ari, Erkka, Janne, Peter and Veli.
